Adobe Photoshop Elements is prone to a local privilege-escalation vulnerability because the application has insufficient protections in a security descriptor.
Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges. Successful exploits will completely compromise an affected computer.
Photoshop Elements 8 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
